The story of HC GYM began in 2012 in Tallinn’s Kopli district, at Puhangu 8. From an old-school gym grew a brand built around a strong and honest training culture.

HC GYM development
The story of HC GYM began in 2012 in the Kopli district of Tallinn. From the first old-school gym grew a brand built around honest training, a strong community and quality equipment.
In 2014, Linnamäe was added, followed by Kohtla-Järve in 2015, Tartu mnt in 2016 and Rakvere in 2017. Later, the Kohtla-Järve club was renewed, and in 2026 the Maardu Pärli Keskus gym was opened.
HC GYM has been a home gym for many serious trainees: bodybuilders, powerlifters, bench press athletes, arm wrestlers and strongmen. It is a place where training is not just a service, but a culture.
2014
Linnamäe tee 91
In 2014, HC GYM expanded to Lasnamäe, at Linnamäe tee 91. The Linnamäe gym became a training place where beginners, fitness enthusiasts and experienced strength athletes came together.
2015
HC GYM arrived in Kohtla-Järve
In 2015, HC GYM arrived in Ida-Virumaa, and a gym was opened in Kohtla-Järve at Järveküla tee 60. This was an important step in HC GYM’s expansion beyond Tallinn and brought a strong gym culture to the trainees of Kohtla-Järve as well.
2016
Sikupilli / Tartu mnt 87D
By 2016, HC GYM had also reached Tartu mnt 87D in the Sikupilli area. This gym became an important step forward — a larger space, more possibilities and a stronger presence near Tallinn city centre.
2017
Rakvere HC GYM
In 2017, HC GYM also arrived in Rakvere. The approximately 400 m² gym at Laada 20 brought the HC GYM concept to Lääne-Virumaa. Rakvere HC GYM operated until March 2020.
2025
A new stage for Kohtla-Järve
In 2024, preparations began for the expansion and renewal of HC GYM Kohtla-Järve. In 2025, the new 700 m² HC GYM Fitness Center was completed at Järveküla tee 60, with the official opening taking place on 28 August 2025.
2026
HC GYM & Cafe in Maardu
In 2026, the new HC GYM & Cafe opened in Maardu Pärli Keskus — a modern training space where a gym, fitness boxing and a cosy cafe come together in one complete environment. The Maardu club took the HC GYM concept to a new level: it is not just a gym, but a place where you can train, recover, meet others and spend time in a sporty atmosphere.
